Account information: name, email, password (hashed), and role (visitor, business owner, admin).
Quote requests: name, email, phone, ZIP, property type, and the details you submit when requesting quotes.
Reviews: the rating and text you publish.
Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer.

How we use your information

To send your quote request to the solar company you selected, and (if enabled) to up to two additional vetted installers in your ZIP.
To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, lead notifications).
To compute auto-rankings for the directory.
To prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.

How we share your information

We share quote-request information with the solar companies you have asked us to forward it to. We do not sell your personal information to general-purpose data brokers. We may share aggregated, non-identifying analytics with advertising or analytics providers.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing privacy@topsolarservices.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use first-party session cookies for authentication and CSRF protection. We do not use third-party tracking cookies unless you opt into our newsletter or click an ad.
