⭐ 1 Star – Ongoing roof leak after solar installation, no response or repair date
Sunwise installed my solar system in May 2025. Within one week, a roof leak appeared in one room of my home. The issue was addressed at the time.
On December 27, 2025, the same leak reoccurred in the exact same location, indicating the original repair was not permanent. I reported the issue immediately.
A roofer was sent on January 9, 2026, but the leak was not resolved. After a recent storm, the roof is now actively leaking “like a faucet,” causing visible ceiling damage and ongoing water intrusion (see attached video/photos).
As of late January 2026, Sunwise has not provided any confirmed repair date, and no one has responded to my text messages this week, despite the worsening condition. While GoodLeap has followed up on the status, they have not been able to offer any actual assistance or resolution.
This situation has caused significant stress and property damage concerns. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Sunwise to homeowners considering solar installation.

We had been contemplating having solar panels installed for a number of years. SunWise was great. They designed a system that covered our entire roof. The service team was polite and did good clean work, which was important to us as our home is newly built in 2021. Good communication throughout. Our system went online in November of 2025.

From the start the seller Justin, the direct calls from the company. The installers. Every step of the way was just excellent. I highly recommend this company. And together we can try to make a better world at least in energy production. Well I have an update. After 9 months with this company I have to back up on recommending them. Since day one there is a malfunction with one of the panels. After lots and lots of calls to the company from my self and my bank still no response from them. Three times they came and in each visit it was a different problem. But never got resolve. I wish I picked a local company. And I wish I could have this system and company out and have a responsible company to work with. So much money put in this system. Makes me wonder if it is even worth it. Definitely not recommend. They started good and fast of course.🤨

Had solar installed today by Sunwise Energy and Solr Standard. Excellent experience. As 1 example, the system was first designed with 1 Jinko panel in mind, but when that was unavailable, they went the extra mile to find another brand with the same 25 year warranty. The crew tackled a tall building with ladders where another installer wanted to use a crane. Price was affordable, more than other companies. So I am pleased.
