Overall Legacy Solar was a great company to work with. Communication was excellent with our Walter Pierce our Energy Consultant. Some disappointment with the Communication with the office on the permittg process and coordination with the Ameren approval process along with the construction crew as they left without any notice or asking us if we had any questions about the panel installation. We would recommend Legacy to anyone looking fo solar.
A wonderful company to work with. There were some original challenges that had to be addressed, but they did an excellent job of getting me up and running as quick as they could. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in solar panels. My utility bill has dropped tremendously, especially the electric part for the last Seven months I have only had to pay for the electric delivery. Part of my Ameren bill. Definitely worth the investment.

Legacy Solar provided top notch installation, feedback, and support during and after our solar installation. The sales person, Santo, was courteous and knowledgeable and sized the system according to our usage. The installation crew communicated every step along the way and the support staff at Legacy Solar kept me informed while the system was commissioned. The ground mount support structure is very sturdy and was installed straight and level. The electrical system installed was to code and professionally installed. Sarah provided excellent post-install follow up and went over any and all questions I had. Overall this was a great experience dealing with Legacy Solar. After researching solar options for over 2 years and finally deciding on Legacy Solar, I have no regrets.
Legacy Solar is a really wonderful company. Did about a year of research before choosing them. Ended up with a system that has MUCH nicer equipment than any of the other quotes and was not any more expensive in the end! (425w panels with micro-inverters!)
Don was a great salesperson- not pushy, open to questions, took a lot of time with me. He walked me though all kinds of financing options and the pros and cons of each route. Also (and this is rare) he’s stayed in contact even after the install!
The instillation team was really friendly and knowledgeable. Wyatt and Josh let me follow them around as they worked and happily answered ALL my nerdy questions.
The system kept tripping one of the breakers the first weekend it was online and they immediately came back Monday morning to look into it. Turns out the system is producing MORE energy than they expected! Good for me! They upped the capacity of the breaker for free and the system has been running GREAT since!
The customer service team (Sarah) has been in constant contact, offering updates throughout the whole process as well as a follow up to make sure everything is going well and to see if I had more questions.
All in all the experience of working with legacy has been really clear and communicative. I’ve felt supported by the sales, install, and service teams. I’d recommend them in a HEARTBEAT.
