First Response Solar

First came heat pumps and an EV. Having our solar system installed was the last step in our transition to becoming an electric home with its own power source. Along the way we had plenty of time to research rooftop solar and local contractors.
First Response Solar stood out from the very beginning. It was clear that they understood why they used each piece of hardware and how these pieces related to each other and to our needs. We chose them over three other proposals and could not be happier!
In addition to doing top notch workmanship, Chaz and Dylan are easy to work with. Our system performs exactly as they had described it to us. Obviously it is a big step to invest in a solar roof and we feel that we now have a system that is well designed, perfectly installed and fully operational. We cannot recommend First Response Solar highly enough.

We engaged the expertise of First Response Solar to troubleshoot and offer guidance regarding an inherited-leased system after purchasing our Sonoma home. Dylan and Chaz communicated regularly before and after a complete audit of our system that included an onsite audit and analysis of our PGE bills.

While their recommendations pointed out the flaws of our leased system they determined that for now the buyout costs might be far more expensive than the benefits. This speaks about their integrity and in our opinion looking after the customer first well before simply consummating another sale for their growing company!

It’s too bad there aren’t more solar companies like First Response Solar in the marketplace because the one we are working with now (Spruce Power) is so bad that we had to file a complaint with the State of California.

Dylan and Chaz are very professional and communicative. They worked with us closely during every phase of the installation and scheduled all of the inspections. This first response solar team was even able to incorporate 12 of my personal solar panels into to new design and installation. fire and county inspections passed without event. Dylan and Chaz also submitted all PGE documentation for grid integration.

I used First Response Solar for panels years ago and there was not a question in my mind who to call to install a battery. Chaz and Dylan grew up in Sebastopol and their integrity is well known.
Their communication is outstanding. They let me know every step of the way, the process and steps to installing our battery. Every question I had was explained thoroughly and completely.
Dylan was on time for each meeting and Chaz and crew were assiduous and considerate leaving the place clean. They even offered to touch up paint on a new wire. They are efficient yet take the time if you need it.
There work is admirable and I highly recommend this company if you want superb service and work.
